The truffle hoe (vanghetta) is an important tool for the truffle hunter. It is used to dig up truffle tubers lying just below the surface as gently as possible. If the soil is plowed up too much, you can destroy the delicate mushroom fibers in the soil. This causes the truffles to have difficulty reproducing.
Our vanghettas are handmade by a manufactory in Vicenza (IT). Furthermore, only high quality materials are used for our truffle hacks.
This handmade truffle hoe (vanghetta), also called mini condor, is above all practical to store and easy to clean. The handle is made of plastic and the blade is made of iron. This must not be missing on any truffle hunt. Length: 16.5 cm
